Increasingly, we are seeing birding partners maintaining their lists in AviSys. AviSys by itself, however, cannot perform some useful comparative and summary data manipulation involving two separate data sets. To answer this need, we have created AVISYS PARTNERS, an add-on used to compare the sightings of two birders who maintain their records in separate data sets, whether those data sets reside in the same instance of AviSys, in different instances, or even on different computers. It can produce reports that display:
* Species seen by Birder A not seen by Birder B *
* Species seen by Birder B not seen by Birder A *
* Species seen by BOTH Birder A and Birder B *
* Aggregate of species seen by Birder A + Birder B *
* Species seen by Birder A (Available, of course, from within AviSys -- provided here as a convenience)
* Species seen by Birder B (Available, of course, from within AviSys -- provided here as a convenience)
* Exclusive AviSys Capabilities!
These reports can be for life lists, nation lists, state lists, county lists, year lists, trip lists, heard-only lists virtually any kind of list you would want to compare or summarize.
AviSys Partners is run from within AviSys. When installed in AviSys Version 4.57B or later, it enables a special Utilities menu item.
